How does MijnKoda.nl work?

Create an account

Start by creating a free account on MijnKoda.nl. The registration process is simple and takes just a few minutes. You only need to enter your name, email address and a secure password.

• Choose a unique email address for your account
• Create a strong password (at least 8 characters)
• Confirm your email address via the verification link

Add your first pet

After creating your account, you can immediately add your first pet. Click "Add Pet" and fill in the basic information:

• Name: Your pet's name
• Type: Dog, cat or other animal
• Breed: Your pet's breed (optional)
• Date of birth: When was your pet born?
• Gender: Male/female, or unknown
• Color: Coat color (optional)
• Chip number: Microchip number (optional)

Register vaccinations

Vaccinations are crucial for your pet's health. Add all important vaccinations and set reminders for when they need to be renewed:

• Add the date the vaccination was given
• Note the type of vaccination (e.g. DHP, kennel cough, rabies)
• Set a reminder for the next vaccination
• Upload any documents or certificates

Tip: MijnKoda.nl automatically sends you email reminders when a vaccination needs to be renewed soon.

Manage medication

Keep track of which medication your pet receives, when and in what dosage. This is especially useful for long-term treatments:

• Add medications with name and dosage
• Note the start and end date of treatment
• Set reminders for when medication should be given
• Keep track of which veterinarian prescribed the medication

Schedule appointments

Schedule and manage appointments with your veterinarian, grooming salon or other caregivers:

• Add future appointments with date and time
• Note the reason for the appointment
• Add notes after the appointment
• Get reminders for upcoming appointments

Track weight

Track your pet's weight over time with our weight tracking feature:

• Add regular weight measurements
• View trends in a visual chart
• Track whether your pet is gaining or losing weight
• Share this information with your veterinarian

Add your MijnKoda reminders to your favorite calendar app for automatic synchronization:

• Go to Account Settings > Calendar Integration
• Click "Generate calendar link" to create your personal link
• Add the link to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook
• Your reminders will be automatically synchronized

Benefit: Your reminders appear directly in your calendar app and are automatically updated when you add new reminders or modify existing ones.
