Is MijnKoda.nl free to use?

MijnKoda.nl offers a free 30-day trial period. After the trial period, a subscription costs €19 per year. During the trial period you have full access to all features. After the trial period you can still view your historical data, but you cannot add new data or receive reminders without an active subscription.

How do I create an account?

Creating an account is easy:

1. Click "Register" in the menu
2. Enter your name, email address and password
3. Confirm your email address via the verification link
4. Log in and start adding your pets

Can I add multiple users to my account?

Yes, absolutely! MijnKoda.nl supports shared accounts. You can add multiple users to one account, which is ideal for families where multiple people are involved in pet care. Each user has their own login credentials but has access to all pets within the account.

What if I forgot my password?

No problem! Click "Forgot password?" on the login page. You will then receive an email with a link to reset your password. The link is valid for 24 hours.

Can I delete my account?

Yes, you can delete your account at any time via the account settings. Note: this permanently deletes all data and cannot be undone. Contact us if you need help deleting your account.

What animals can I use MijnKoda.nl for?

MijnKoda.nl is suitable for all types of pets, including dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, rodents and other animals. You can select the animal type when adding a pet.

How many pets can I add?

There is no limit on the number of pets you can add to your account. You can add as many pets as you want.

Can I export or download data?

Currently there is no export function available, but this is something we want to add in the future. You can always manually copy or print information from the application.

What happens to my data if I delete a pet?

When you delete a pet, all associated data (vaccinations, medication, appointments, etc.) is also permanently deleted. This action cannot be undone, so be careful.

How do vaccination reminders work?

When you add a vaccination, you can set a reminder for when the next vaccination is needed. MijnKoda.nl automatically sends you an email reminder on the date you set. You can adjust or delete the reminder at any time.

Tip: Set the reminder a few weeks before the actual vaccination date so you have time to make an appointment.

Can I disable reminders?

Yes, you can disable or delete reminders via the reminders page. You can also edit individual reminders to adjust the date or frequency.

How often do I receive reminders?

You receive reminders on the dates you set. You can individually set when you want to receive each reminder. By default you receive one reminder per event, but you can set multiple reminders (e.g. 2 weeks in advance and 1 day in advance).

I am not receiving email reminders. What can I do?

If you are not receiving email reminders, check the following:

• Check your spam or junk email folder
• Make sure your email address is correct in your account settings
• Check if reminders are enabled for the relevant event
• Contact us if the problem persists

Can I add my reminders to my calendar app?

Yes! MijnKoda.nl supports calendar integration. You can automatically synchronize your reminders with your favorite calendar app:

• Google Calendar: Add the calendar link via "Other calendars" > "From URL"
• Apple Calendar: Subscribe to the calendar link via File > New Calendar Subscription
• Microsoft Outlook: Add the calendar link via File > Account Settings > Internet Calendars

Your calendar automatically synchronizes with MijnKoda.nl so your reminders are always up-to-date. Go to Account Settings > Calendar Integration to generate your personal calendar link.

Can I track medication history?

Yes, you can track all medication your pet has received or is still receiving. Add medication with name, dosage, start and end date, and set reminders for when medication should be given.

How does weight tracking work?

You can add weight measurements for your pet with date and weight. MijnKoda.nl automatically creates a chart of these measurements so you can see trends over time. This is useful to see if your pet is gaining or losing weight.
